Hi Ciarán, I do, well I do and I don't in that mine came underground and they ate a hole in the foundation and into the wall of my house.
So I have, there's a huge building development going on at the very back of my garden and once the building kind of, they turned the sod, the rats moved because it was a massive site and it was just home to wildlife but...
So they were there for quite a while before I discovered them.
And I know there is a smell that comes into a house even with a live rat.
But when the first pest controller came into my house, he said to me he didn't think there was anything there at all because he couldn't smell anything.
So he was very surprised when I showed him the holes in the kitchen wall because they ate my appliances, my washing machine, my cooker, the extractor fan, they went into the hood of everything.
But
They can get in anywhere.
They can eat through everything, bar steel, obviously.
