Oh, absolutely.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I learned a little bit about theory in the School of Music, but I was living with them.
Suddenly I was living in Kildare in this artist's house that she had built from an old schoolhouse that had existed in the 19th century.
and lived there for three, four, five years with her and our three sons.
We had the greatest time.
And people were good to me, Brendan.
If I was to sort of describe my life, I would say people were good to me.
When I landed on Grafton Street and I got my confidence and I eventually moved out onto Grafton Street itself, I was busking opposite this guy, Pete Short.
And Pete used to sell the In Dublin outside Bewley's.
And Pete...
is kind of a self-professed Dylanologist.
I mean, he knows everything about Bob and I was a Dylan nut.
And so me and him bonded.
And then he introduced me to Seamus Heaney.
And as I said, like I was studying Heaney in school, but now I'm in the School of Grafton Street.
It's a different energy.
And suddenly I meet Heaney and Heaney invites us to a reading.
We go and listen to him play and then we meet Paul Amin and Paul Durkin and we meet all these poets.
