Then we met all these young trad players on the street and they were called Keela and they were all like 15.

So we were all just this one big group of people playing music together.
And it was a really, really special time, the late 80s, kind of mid to late 80s in Dublin.
Well, I was walking home one day from Buskin and I saw this guy painting, doing a street drawing.
And I stopped and I hung out with him for a minute.
His name was Temple Garner.
And Temple's mother, Temple, you know how it is when you're a kid.
I'm talking to Temple for a minute and the next thing we're on a bus to Selbridge and, you know, and next thing we're in his house.
And Philippa, his mom, was a painter.
And she was like, she listened to me singing and she was like, I'm going to put you into music school.
And she paid for two years of violin classes.
Violin classes.
Why violin?
I don't know.
But for me in Chatham Row in the School of Music.
And I remember Nuala O'Kane was my teacher in there and I learned how to write music.
