And it was, for me, it was a very proud moment.

And I walked home and I didn't have any bus fare.

Walked back to Ballymun, came in busking the next day and that was it.

I was hooked.

Yeah, yeah.

Mark Dignam from Finglas, I remember meeting him.

Mick Christopher from Clondalkin.

And then Mick came back in on the Friday and started playing with me.

And he was bringing, what was great was we were all bringing different songs to each other.

It was Akko and Swanee.

Akko and Swanee brought the Waterboys to us.

We didn't know who they were.

Yeah.

they were like, do you ever heard this band, The Waterboys?

And I think, like, This Is The Sea had just come out at this time.

And we learned the whole album.

We remember we were sitting around, I remember in Mark Dignam's house, we learned the whole record.

And we'd go busking with those songs.

I was playing mostly Dylan, Van, and we were all bringing different music to each other.

And then suddenly we were a group and we were all playing music.
