I always try and guess who you're going to put number one.
And I assumed that it would be someone other than the Mercedes drivers because I feel like the top drivers or the drivers in the best cars have to work very hard to convince you that they did the best job over the weekend.
So I was kind of asking myself...
Will it be Lewis Hamilton?
Could be Max Verstappen?
Might even be Franco Colapinto.
I think we're going to talk about all those later.
But you actually went for a Mercedes 1-2, as we've heard there.
Unfortunately, that generated lots of questions from our members as well.
So talking about...
them as a collective first.
We have Russell first and Antonelli second, as you read out there.
Stuart Coulter said he was surprised to see the Mercedes drivers at the top as both made a number of minor errors while under pressure.
And he feels you've cut them too much slack.
But Robert Chambers says you could have put Kimi and George in any order, but also says kudos to you for keeping them at the top.
So I feel like we're starting this off
by highlighting one of the issues that regularly comes up when people ask you about this stuff, where you have one person going, how on earth have you put them at the top?
And someone else going, yay, you've put them at the top.
So it is quite rare, though, I feel, and you may disagree, for the top two who are fighting for the championship in the best car to end up 1-2 in your rankings.
And looking back at the numbers for this season, actually, Ed, this is the first time you've put a Mercedes driver number one.
