As Connor said, it may be a bit easier to end up with people getting lapped at the Hungar rings.
It's slightly shorter, tighter circuit.
But overall, the pace differences aren't huge.
In the days of the field spread being maybe five to eight seconds on the grid, it didn't matter so much if Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher would catch the backmarkers.
They would find their way through.

It's almost this idealist thing that, yeah, you should have to overtake and race the back markers.
And as we'll talk about with Sean O'Connor in a moment, obviously, American racing has a totally different view on this.
And as a big, big fan of IndyCar and NASCAR, I love the way they do it, although I think their system works better for oval racing than road course racing.

I'm almost disappointed in myself that I can't say, yeah, get rid of blue flags.
I just think the sensible bit of my brain is saying there's a few too many reasons that I don't think it's workable for modern F1.
I wonder if F1 has just maybe gone too far, like you have to get out of the way too quickly now.
I mean, Ed, I can't remember.
How many Marshalls posts are you allowed to go past before you basically have to jam on the brakes and get out of the way?

So I wonder if that's a bit too much.
But obviously, like most things in F1, it's become more prescribed because people complained about the way it was before.
