So 97s when they tidied it all up and put grass everywhere.

But yeah, you watch the early years of that complex and it's like, where do all these bits of track go?

Yeah, so my answer is the same as yours, Matt, and I think the original kind of 89-90 configuration, I just loved how simple and how fast that version of the track was.

I think, you know, Beckett's, what became Beckett's after that is kind of, is iconic in its own way, but the bridge corner thing, the first time I went to Silverstone for the Grand Prix was 96, and we were walking in, I think, for Saturday morning practice,

And bridge was where we arrived.

And we sort of stood at the outside bridge.

I think there was some advertising hoardings blocking the view, but you could sort of lean underneath those.

And you just got this view from the back of them coming through there.

And even then, I was a 10 year old kid.

You could see the cars that were sort of wobbling through there.

And I'm sure someone had crashed on the Friday there, maybe like someone like Eddie Irvine or something like that.

And I saw they came through and looked like they were going to crash again.

And I was just there going, this is incredible.

My dad's sort of going, should we go and watch from somewhere proper rather than peer through like a bit of underneath the fence?

I was like, no, this is it.

Okay, Aaron Riley is next, asking, does anyone on the panel have fond memories of the cartoon strips drawn by Jim Bamber?

I always used to get a signed copy of The Pits, which was Jim's book, at the NEC every January.

Well, Ed, you spent the longest of any of us working at Autosport magazine, where Bamber was always in the front of the mag and very, very, very, very popular, his cartoons.

I remember reading one of those books when I did one of my first work experience stints at Autosport.
