He spoke to the media, including our very own Ed Straw, who can be seen in the TV footage of a Paddock Media scrum, where Marko said Vettel was already ahead, at least two metres ahead, and there was a corner to the left, so he had to go for the line.

He cannot break on the dirt.

This obviously sounded a lot like Marco was blaming Weber.

And when that was picked up on in the interview he's giving, I think, is it Will Buxton asking the initial questions for TV?

Marco was asked if that meant he thought it was Weber's fault.

So go and find this interview is well worth a look because he pauses.

And I think he thinks in that moment he goes, ah, like, have I?

There's that brief moment he goes, have I said too much?

Should I rail back on it?

He basically decides not to rail back on it.

And he just finishes by going unnecessary the whole situation.

uh weber wrote in his book that after he returned from the post-race press conference because he finished third um he thought he'd done a good job of not escalating the situation before he'd had a chance to talk to anyone from the team so he doesn't really know what's going on but he you know you can find this transcript online mark does quite a good job of trying he doesn't know what the party line is yet but he's trying to guess where it is and trying to follow it um
