Yeah.

Yeah, well I I I have a good story on that one.

When I when I was leaving Aston Villa uh uh thirty five, we'd just been promoted to the Premier League and um

as you do, uh I was back in with the international camp and then I was obviously gonna see where I stood regarding obviously New Deal or or what was happening.

And I I got a phone call from um some Cyprus Apa Well Nicaragua.

So they were um they just made the the qualifying of the Champions League and

I think they'd just been taken over so there was a uh there was they had a a a financial backing.

Um and I got in touch with Mick Mick McCarthy at the time just to see if this was something that would be acceptable regarding staying 'em in around the international scene and um

Now make it said listen, whatever's whatever's best for the for the family.

But he's not too sure about the standard of the league of being able to watch me week in, week out and um so politely declined it because I wanted to try and stay around for the international team as long as possible.

And then Mick ends up leaving out the island and and then Mick's first job was ended up being out of Nicaragua.

So uh

He told me to dodge a bul bullet and then he took all the the financial thing and and went out there.

So that was the that was the only case for me um regarding uh going abroad and

What what happened was I ended up um obviously the the wife she was she was happy for me to go because she's saying every couple of weeks uh a chance to get some sun on the back end.

No for me in the end it ended up being uh no too much just regarding um for family and reasons more so than uh a financial thing because it was probably the one that I should have taken.

Would you um you'd you'd reflect on it like that, would you?

Y you'd you'd if you could go back you'd go.

Um well I ended up I ended up going up to Hearts and that went south that went sour after six months.
