had them, Baki Spota, Matzfield, they they like they come together and when you have them and I don't think New Zealand have that when you compare it to the the leaders, the market leaders um of it.
So I I was thinking even broader on this whole uh piece as well and I was actually going, I'm not sure New Zealand are going to challenge at the next World Cup.
Um I don't think I actually think the people the two teams
That can dethrone the Springboks are France and England.
But the two caveats you have about France is
Will they pick the right team and will they actually get their SHIT together?
And then England, same kind of thing.
Can Borthwick find what makes those players tick?
And that's a big if uh with Borthwick because the last couple of years suggests he won't be able to.
But England have England and France have a player pool that can challenge South Africa for me.
For me, it was like looking at the series, it was kind of the stuff that wasn't um obvious that I found most interesting, um, which was South Africa.
reverting to type yet again and focusing on their incredible strength and not that many faces in uh new positions and just the inherent weakness that is still there in the New Zealand team.
And you're looking at it going, can New Zealand fill that void in the in the next 12 months?
Unlikely.
And is that a position you can coach your way out of?
Again, unliking.
