You could see they were going, this is the game, this is where we want to play.

They're not playing empty phases.

They had really good emphasis on quality catch pass and their spatial awareness and their linking was excellent with their strike runners and their pace runners.

And Ireland were really struggling to control them.

What I thought was really interesting, they didn't go after what everybody thought, oh, they'll find Prendergast, they'll find Makeham Tackle.

They actually weren't arsed.

They just went, well, we're just going to be better everywhere.

Sorry, I'm not saying they're identical, but there is a similar... There's nothing to suggest that we should try and adopt that play because I don't think we have the players to play it.

So this is where the attacking identity that we have to have, I think is kind of tying in what John is saying.

We don't need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

we are really good at stuff.

We just have to sharpen the attacking thing.

I think Rob Carney was the last time we counterattacked.

So again, very tongue-in-cheek.

It's not a thing we're very proficient at or very good at.

But that transition play happens...

You know, we don't have to go to the extreme of, you know, Jalabair and Tamac doing, you know, running from behind your own goal line.

But a little bit more probing before kicking, you know, is a nice halfway house.
