It was a safe space for me, whereas I wouldn't have done it, wouldn't have lasted if the space wasn't safe.
So again, you've got your safe anchor at home, but when you're going to work, your colleague is this beautiful, safe human.

that makes a massive difference I wouldn't enjoy going in on stage with someone that I didn't trust or didn't really like their value system I'm sort of I don't think I don't think it would matter what age I was particularly now that we're 50 but I don't think I'd ever be into that I just think toxicity and distrust can just erode things
It wasn't.
Yeah, because you feel like a sellout and you don't relax and you get the anxiety and you just know, like you are just masking here and performing and this is just, this is shit.
This is not you.
I think it's that little girl again, that there has to be perfect.
Yeah, it has to be, if something's worth doing, do it well.
Whereas, you know, I sing with one of my best mates from Year 7, Anna Lee, and I, we do a show together and we've really leaned into play, play, play, play.
And that's really helped both of us just play.
And even before we're about to go on stage, we've got lots of stuff going on in our lives and our babies and everything.
And we just keep saying, play, play, play, play.
And that really helps us get back to the joy of why we're doing it.
And I did it recently with Radio Geek.
I just did it rather than sort of get so obsessed about all the intros being perfect.
And I was like, just go in there and play.
Because if I'm myself and I play, I'll connect.
