You know, the the the the tempo to where play wasn't there.

Um we were still on the bus, I think.

You know, I suppose you come away the Pats, a a possession based team and you probably expect 'em to have a lot of the ball, but um I would have expected us to be a little bit better in the first half.

So we had a few words of half time.

Yeah, we we we made one or two little uh adjustments and I thought we were excellent, yeah.

I thought we were excellent in the second half and fairness.

No no no geez, I'm no Jose Mourinho, don't don't get me wrong here.

Um it it's down to the lads, it's down to the to the the internal and and the inner of the lads, the the self belief and the confidence and when that comes out in our players they're uh they're a force to be reckoned with.

But um like I say, we we just needed to get that aggression, we just needed to get that intensity and we just needed to get a little bit more of a press.

Squeezing the line from behind as well was much, much better in the second half and that helped us when we squeezed from behind.

behind it helps the midfielders and it helps the forwards.

We were a real threat on the counter as well.

Uh we had a lot of territory in the second half which surprised me.

So um all in all I thought we were about to team to be to be quite honest with you.

Yeah, look it was it's i i the result is all that matters in cup football.

Um we I've been long enough in the game to to to know banana skins, uh tough opponents, you know, cup football.

Um I didn't like the feel of us this week in training.

I didn't like the feel around the place.

There's there's people thinking we've cracked it, there's people thinking we're doing gonna do this, we're gonna do that.

Well, I I just felt tonight was a little bit of an eye opener, tonight was a little bit of a reality check.
