I think for everybody.
We have a little bit clearer picture of who they are and who we want to be and how we as coaches can help bring the best out of them.
As you get a bigger and bigger sample size, that becomes easier.
That's one of the challenges of year one where you don't necessarily know where guys fit within our system.
And really on us as coaches, it's more about adapting our system to them.
So the more reps we get together and the more communication we have about how they see things, how they see defenses, how they like to approach this route or how they like to maybe approach a certain look, allows us to build things around them and hopefully the quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive line, all feel more comfortable, which accelerates their growth in play.
That's a great question.
It's always a tough challenge, especially going into the offseason when you're reevaluating what were we good at and what could we be good at.
And I think ultimately you try to strike that balance of not throwing out the good just to bring in some new experimentation, but we're always going to try to continue to evolve.
In some areas, it might be something small like technique.
We may change one technique of the offensive line or a footwork.
But in some areas, it might be a totally different scheme or a totally different way of running a scheme we ran previously.
So we have our fair share of experimentation that we'll work through throughout training camp.
It might not all be at once, but through the offseason, we have a plan that we work through all these different ideas and things that we want to work towards.
But we ultimately want to balance that back and have that foundation to still rely on, regardless of where we go or where that evolution ends up.
The exciting thing is seeing how those guys embrace those challenges because they both really attack it head on.
And it's not easy to go out there and be a rookie and operate whether you're in an
circumstance that's set up for success or circumstance that's set up for a challenging block or a challenging route or challenging look.
But regardless of what those guys have had thrown at them, they've attacked it with full effort, full intensity, and whether it's success or
failure they've come back and grown from it and had the right attitude continue to try to learn from things and get better every single day so that that's what's exciting about seeing those guys in those challenging situations it's just the way they handle it and they love their teammates out there when they do it they're not blaming others they're taking accountability so to see those things from young guys is really exciting
