But I miss him.

I miss Fran Leibovitz and I. I had a dear friend who was the first female super agent, Sue Mengers.

We adored her.

I miss her.

I miss a friend of mine, Jerry Weintraub, out there, who both toured Frank Sinatra at the beginning of his career and produced all the Oceans movies at the end of his career.

produced the Godfather films when he was the head of Paramount Pictures.

He was a strange, wonderful friend.

And so, you know, I miss a lot of friends who are dead.

They were characters.

And why did they like you?

Because I appreciated characters.

And yeah, because if you go to Hollywood now, I mean, they're not much different than most of the people running the studios or the television networks.

They could be employees at a hardware store at this point.

They're number crunchers.

And these people, they had big personalities.

And also, they had fun in the jobs they had.

And that's the one thing you'll never get.
