So maybe the sentiment is we don't want to hear it right now, and I totally understand and respect that.
There were a lot of positives, but this is part of the evolution, the metamorphosis of going from a plucky underdog to someone who wants to hang out on the big stage and the pressure that comes with it.
When you put yourself in a position to do something special and you come up short, there's going to be negatives.
But I think it's also fair to say, look, some players really emerged from this tournament today
Nathan Saliba is probably on his way to a big move from Anderlecht to the next stage.
Moise Bombido, if he can get fit again, he could move.
Alistair Johnson might be ready for a club bigger than Celtic, and Celtic's a pretty big club.
So these positive stories are certainly in the conversation, and they deserve to be spotlighted.
It's just that it's, again, to go back to that same cliche, the emotional rollercoaster of being a sports fan and coming down from a World Cup high.
