It was in a lot of these conversations for commercial companies and for the military.
there's a collection of people that you keep in this space where you both have trust and confidence in the outcome.
I got hands-on in 2012, 13 and 14 with something you mentioned earlier called Palantir.
And it really changed the way that I saw how data relationships exist between nodes and edges.
And a node is a central, basically a central data piece where edges exist and there's relationships between those.
And they're actually mathematical.
and so you have things like eigenvector centrality or closeness or betweenness there are mathematical compute metrics we know them actually as social network analytics but when you start to see the relationship between node and edges you can do incredible things with data like find bad guys do cyber crime underground cyber grime hunting uh correlating deep and dark network and threats in cyber crime looking for zero day attacks looking for credit card breaches
Not that I've done any of these things, but this transformation of node and edge relationships using software to do good for the world has been my entire career.
And I've wanted to build a business that was really hyper-focused on this with one caveat.
The executive layer is what needs the most help.
You sure hope that's not the reason.
Sometimes it is, but it's more that the executives on this planet that are running businesses effectively, they're so very limited on time.
There's more data than they can possibly digest as the lightning hits.
Isn't that crazy?
That's neat.
There's more data than an executive can possibly digest, and it changes every single second.
So as we look at why this is so important, if I'm an executive running a business today, like you, a very busy executive, do you have time to do data nerdery?
If I use the words, do you have time for this?
No, you do not.
I need dashboards.
