And it's just same, like the reason Doug Ford's so frustrating is it's the same idea.
He's like defunding the public sector.
He's defunding education.
He's defunding the hospitals.
So then people start to complain about them and then they're forced in, well, rich people are forced into a private like sector of healthcare, for example.
And then they start talking about how, oh, it's better that we have access to that if you can afford it.
But he's defunding the initial aspect of what makes Ontario an incredible province in the first place.
He's actively ruining what the institutions that are put in place for politicians to defend and try to make better.
It's fucking crazy.
Yeah.
Doug Ford being captain Canada or whatever is such bullshit because Doug Ford is the most American politician that like Ontario has ever seen.
He's trying to defund public health care to private health care, to privatize it like in America.
He's trying to defund education and make teachers be underpaid like in America.
He's trying to make Ontario like America.
He just knew that the optics at the time to be captain Canada or whatever would work in his advantage.
But if you actually read what he's doing, he's trying to make Ontario more American.
And as someone who was just in post-secondary education, it was devastating because I watched in real time.
I went to university 15 years ago.
It was a beautiful time for universities.
I never thought once about funding and how the classroom sizes and the structure of this thing was working.
