It was like we were just enjoying ourselves and learning and trying to grow.
There was not really that much...
like fiscal understanding of how universities worked every single undergraduate person at university now is aware of how stretched thin universities are it's all the students talk about it's all i talked about with other students their class sizes are huge their education their actual quality of education is so low that the professors have to explain that to the kids when they're like oh all of a sudden there's actually way more students in this class there's no enough reason
We can't, we don't, we can't teach you.
We don't have enough, like we have way too many students.
And the reason for that is that Doug Ford decreased funding in post-secondary education.
He capped the actual cost that you would pay for post-secondary education just to quote unquote help students and families.
But then international students would pay way more to go to university.
So they started university started being like, well, we need to figure out how to make money.
We're going to get more international students in.
He started to complain about that to the federal government who then capped international students.
And now for the last, like,
four to five years, universities have just been bleeding money because the public sector, Doug Ford, refused to insert any money into the education system because he's anti-education.
He doesn't want people to be educated, which is fucking insane.
So now I'm at university and I'm learning all of this and I'm looking around and people are just like,
depressed.
They're so sad.
They know that the education system of even eight, 10 years ago is gone.
The thing their parents thought that they were going to experience, they're not experiencing because of Doug Ford and his active, idiotic ability to ruin education across the province.
And that's just post-secondary education.
