There's one other comment that I'd like to make, which is Billy Ray, who's our mutual friend.
He's a colleague of mine.
He's done a ton of work.
He's done almost more work than anybody I know in counties all across America dealing with Democrats.
And there's something that's repeated to him all the time, which is the average Obama-Trump voter
works two and a half jobs, commutes three hours a day, and thinks about politics four minutes a week.
That's really interesting and compelling.
And in a lot of ways, we tend to call them low information voters, but I take issue with that because in fact, they're low partisan information voters.
They're high information voters.
They know how much gas costs.
They know what's happening with inflation.
They know what's happening with the kids in their community.
They're connected with all the realities of what is happening in America.
In a lot of ways, those of us who are on 24-7 phone, social media, news alert are kind of the ones who are insane because we're focusing on... You talked a little bit earlier about how we're in this bubble and we're always seeking to get outside of this bubble.
But their concerns are, are you going to fight for me?
Are you going to put policies in place and talk to values that I understand in a core way that isn't condescending?
Are you not going to police my language and what I can think?
Are you going to stay out of my way to build the future?
Are you going to fight against gigantism and monopolies so that small businesses have a chance to thrive and fight?
It's a very different set of values and core values.
