As you may know, Reid, I'm part of a group called the Dead Bankers Society, where we'll debate, do Oxford style, modified Oxford style debates at conferences to get to exactly this.
I think too often conferences just have talking heads and there's no real discourse.
That's one of the reasons I love the Fast Payments Council.
And I'm not just saying that because I'm on your podcast.
I genuinely believe this.
Your content and your conferences has real people having real conversation and discourse.
There are others.
NACHA, I think, is also a great conference as well.
But there are some conferences that do it.
But again, I don't think we do it often enough.
And I do think our industry would benefit from people really debating and having to argue both sides of a point.
How about- We don't have to fix that.
Interesting one.
I will go with a sell because I believe there are a lot of other considerations that need to be taken into account when deciding how you're going to route a payment.
yes, price is important.
Um, speed of course is one, but even if you look within faster payments where, um, you know, especially with an instant where the speed is equal, there's still other things.
Um, some of it could be a time of day based.
Some of it could be amount based.
It could be based on fraud, um, concerns, right?
There might be certain instances where the data on, uh, you know, certain institutions might be better in one place than another.
