I've been advised by a lot of the punters that I see in the street, stop mucking around with the rules.

So this is the technicalities of it.

So if it's a normal lasso, it takes five seconds to come back in.

If it's a boundary throw in, it takes 15 seconds before, you know, the umpire picks it up, he looks behind, he gets ready to throw and it's,

So if they can make that call to clarify it within 10 seconds, they do it.

And if they can't, just let it go.

The other thing that's probably sometimes not clear is to what causes the free kick.

And really what we based it on was what would happen in the goal square.

So if you're in the goal square, it doesn't matter if it comes off the back of your shin, your shin, your heel, your foot, you know, whatever.

It rolls across the line, it's a goal.

So if that happens on the boundary line, same thing.

It's a lasso.

So people...

Of the lassoos, 80% are skill errors and 20% are those sort of accidents where you're running and you and I are running to the boundary and it hits off your shin.

But again, if it did that in the goal square, it's a goal.

And similarly, if it actually did that and goes on the full, no one has a problem.

It's on the full, but because it rolls across.
