Because, you know, um when you we hear co when we are engaged in conversations that are difficult conversations, negative content, traumatic content, secondary trauma, we catch this um negative.
Emotions or we catch these difficulties and this often leads people in this profession to experience comp compassion fatigue.
I I cannot be empathic anymore, I cannot be compassionate anymore, because it's a limited resource.
What I think should be done is they need people who to listen to them.
in order to do it.
But it's it it's important to realize that listening has costs.
Um and like every resource, it needs to be allocated in a smart way because we don't have an uh endless uh amount of it.
That's a tough one.

And you know, we're talking about human behavior, so there is no one size fits all uh solution.
But from my experience, usually when someone repeats the same it's like a broken C D.
I don't know if people, young people today will know what a C D is, but I don't know how I I don't have a better equivalent.

And over, there is usually something something stuck there.
Now, um, in these situations, um what I found to be beneficial is to try to identify and reflect the emotion that is manifests this repetition.
So, for example, let's say that I'm telling you a
Story about how unfair uh the m my manager was towards me and I I keep repeating, repeating.
Now if you'll reflect on the content, I will just repeat what I say what I said again and again and again.
What will be helpful, how to move from this point on and to advance the conversation is often try to reflect on the emotion.
