I do not like open house.
I do not like open house mainly because it's a throng of people.
About half of them have never been there before.
Um, because I say that I say this.
The last open house we went to was the first in the school.
So it might be that all of the other parents are this is the first time they're seeing the inside of the school because this is their oldest child.
Because it is not my oldest child.
Um, I've already seen the inside of this school.
It's been a bit, but I've already been here.
I already know what second grade feels like.
I already know.
This is not that big a deal.
And so I'm confronted with a whole bunch of scared, confused.
I don't know what's going on.
Who are these people I'm trusting my child with?
And I get that.
You're entitled to that.
I I I will feel that in two years when when we go to um I felt that with my oldest.
