So the transition was not wretched.
It w it wasn't awful to be like, I'm a 17-year-old high school student who lives basically off Raman and tuna to I'm a 19-year-old college dropout who lives basically on Ramen and tuna.
Very little has changed about literally I moved out at 17.
just didn't I live with my mom anymore.
That was different.
Um, I had a different address.
That I had to pay my own electric bill.
That was about it.
Um
However, uh my my family has been able to enjoy a lot of success and privilege.
And um my my children are not poor.
They're just they're not.
Um I will forever worry about our finances.
Trauma.
Because it's my it's my job.
Uh oh yeah.

The a card glitched one time because the card reader was errored and the surge of panic that it had just rejected my transaction.
The the surge of shame and panic that I had zeroed out my bank account and it was rejecting the groceries, knowing full well I knew what was in my bank account and it was significantly more than this twenty dollar purchase that was trying to fail.
But it also meant that we recognized sometime last year during her senior year.
