We didn't gatekeep.
We were very open.
I would say that's what we got right.
Well, there weren't other people doing it, really.
There was very, we had healthcare, deep healthcare investors who didn't believe in the consumerization of healthcare, thought patients will never pay for things.
And then you had tech investors who are more tourist VCs who, some of them are better than others, but most of them
see very different timelines in tech and didn't have the patience to stay in healthcare.
So we call them like Taurus VCs that have kind of gone in and out.
Some of them have built real expertise in healthcare over those years and now I think have done a great job.
So I would say
it would have been fine for them to do it on their own as well.
Like we weren't like cap tables have dozens of investors on them.
So it's not like only one investor could win.
But we were doing the legwork of building the community and we were on the ground.
We were young.
We had, you know,
the time and energy to put into truly building the community and bringing people together on a daily basis.
Our office was, it was a very cool office, open to everyone.

You know, we'd have visitors from Japan that were like, we've heard what you're doing.
