Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe is approaching the halfway point of his first term, and it feels like a lot is going on.
At the ballot box, voters will consider some big issues in August and November, including abortion rights and the Republican governor's top priority this year, advancing an effort to eliminate the state income tax.
There's the movement of Missouri's professional sports teams to new stadiums, controversy around building data centers, and sitting on top of the governor's desk right now, a proposed budget that another state official warns could move the state dangerously close to going broke.
