Notebook LLM comes up in this, in the third part of the series, we meet a woman called Joss Fong, who is an American podcaster and kind of science influencer.
She makes incredible videos about science, sort of like pop science, basically.
She's incredibly beautiful.
I'm saying this for a reason.
And also has a lovely voice.
And the situation she's now found herself in, in part because of Notebook LLM, is that a very large proportion of the internet doesn't think she's real.
Because of what she looks and sounds like.
So there's no evidence of this, but if you listen to Notebook LLM, the male-female voice that's generated, it sounds incredibly like her and her male co-host.
I have no evidence of this bit of it, but it sounds to me like it's either modeled on or trained off.
The LLM model is trained off either them or something like them.
It sounds so similar, even the way they take breaths, their turns of phrase.
It's like Joss Fong and her co-host.
She's physically quite perfect looking and people think that she's AI generated her videos.
So she's now found herself in this space of trying to make the content that she produces less good and more human, more flawed, a bit more rough to try and prove to people, many of whom on the internet still won't believe it, but to try and prove to people that she's real.
So the producers wanted to test how good the AI is.
I mean, I don't want to give it all away, but essentially we brought mum in for the filming on this to test whether she could spot fake me and real me.
