I think right now is still massively impactful because there's still remnants of LeBron's legacy all throughout Akron.

There's I Promise School, Akron St.

Vincent St.

Mary wears LeBron uniforms now.

They're like a LeBron James specific branded school.

And you can drive by the places where he was a kid, you know, be at his house or these basketball courts.

And I think that looks, a big part of There's Always This Here is

being evangelical, evangelizing about the reality that to be from a place can matter.

It doesn't always matter, but it can matter a great deal.

And to love a place, to endure a love for a place, even though that place will not always love you back evenly, and you might always love it back evenly, there's a pride in that.

And the pride in that

I think comes when you ask yourself the question of what does it mean to make it out of somewhere?

And sometimes to make it out of somewhere means you do get to become a mega star athlete, but sometimes to make it out of somewhere, it just means that you are beloved where you are.

And in that, to use that logic, a kid from Akron, yes, that is surely a branding slogan to some degree, but what it's also saying is the Akron is flexible.

We're all the kids.

There was even this idea of like, we're all a kid from somewhere.

And again,

use that framework and say i am from this place and i love this place and i would like to leave a mark on this place so that when i am no longer here be it geographically here physically here whatever people who did not know me and did not have any experience knowing me can say

that person did something good for this place.

And I would like to do something good for that place.
