I did, in the wake of that Birdcage success, one of the first things I got was this little indie film I did with Billy Bob Thornton and Ryan Phillippe.

And it didn't really do much.

It was a film called Homegrown.

It didn't really do much.

A lot of cool people were in it.

And I got along really well with Billy Bob and I think he's amazing.

And one day, we had no trouble.

We had a good working relationship.

And one day he came to me and he said, you know, I had a dream about you last night.

I dreamt that we're hanging out on this porch and John Lennon came out with an acoustic guitar and started playing all of his songs for us.

And Billy Bob said, and Hank, you wouldn't stop talking during the entire thing.

And I was like, huh.

And I kind of thought about that.

And I said, Billy Bob, do you feel like I'm maybe a little too much with the approach to the work and in what we're doing here?

And I think he genuinely, I don't think it had occurred to him, but he genuinely thought about it for a sec.

And he went, yeah, you know, I think maybe a little bit, a little bit.

And I was like, oh, all right, I'll try to.

And that, I really took that to heart.

I was like, I think I'm a little...

I let it spill out how on like... You were like a pain in the ass.
