I thought I would get to the end or near the end and start being preemptively sad about it ending.
Like I'm going to get so into this routine.
Like it's going to, you know, every day I'm just like getting up and riding my bike and eating gas station snacks, like whatever I want to eat.
And taking naps in the dirt and eventually, like, I'm going to love it so much that I won't be able to go back home.
And I didn't get that.
Like, I was so ready to be back home the last week or two.
People told me about post-tour blues or people finish the tour divide and then they have a hard time reintegrating back to their regular lives.
And maybe it's because I got warned against it or maybe because I wasn't following the rules or I just have such a great community back home, but I was just so...
Like I wasn't like, oh yeah, get me out of here.
I don't want to do this.
But I was also like, I'm so ready to be home and be done because like, I love my friends.
I love my home roads.
I love the concept of like a backyard adventure.
And then like work covered everything so beautifully for me while I was gone.
Like I got back home and I was like, whoa, like the only thing weird is that there's nothing weird.
Like I can completely just go back to like nothing happened.
did much change about me or was I just authentic to myself?
And it was a cool playing field for that to transpire.
I don't know.
