And I think that really never hurt my mom or she found it very difficult anyway.

Yeah.

But at the same time, she, when I was, I think I was about 16, she left hairdressing and she actually went on to become a homeopath.

I feel like, I don't know what in her life, because I don't think we ever really spoke about it, what in her life changed that she kind of craved something different and wanted to go down a different route.

And she, you know, she began looking at life a little bit more differently and

a little bit more natural, healthier.

And yeah, she went to college while I was in secondary school.

I remember she finished in her final exams when I was finishing my Leaving Cert.

Wow.

Yeah.

Yeah, she was 30 when she had me, yeah.

So she was just switching gears, obviously, and decided she wanted something different in life.

Yeah, well, I just think being a hairdresser as you get older takes a stolen body.

Fly in the nest, as they say.

But as well, when I was a teenager, then I also got curious about my dad and wanted to know him.

Not that my mom never spoke about him, but she would never...

She would never speak ill of him or, you know, she always wanted me to make up my own mind.
