And, you know, when the time came and I decided I wanted to get to know him, that she wasn't going to stand in the way.
So I did.
We reached out to him when I was maybe 15 and we had a short relationship.
And I think that also hurt my mum, that I was kind of,
given everything to my dad at one point because in my dad's house there was younger brothers and sisters thing that I again as I said I had a great childhood yeah you still always crave wanting to know what it's like to have a sibling yeah
um and I think I think that that hurt her and she found it hard um and I just think it really put a bit bit of a divide between us as well um and then we actually fell out for about a year we didn't really speak uh around the time my 21st um
And I remember kind of sitting down with her and was like, okay, we need to stop the mother-daughter thing.
That kind of relationship needs to end because I don't think it's working for us.
And I would like to try and be friends, you know, because me and my big old aged 21 thought I was an adult, you know.
And I was like, I just think that needs to, that we need to kind of stop overbearing.
And I'm not, we're not clicking that way anymore.
And we did try and be friends then.
And we were, we had like a great time and great relationship.
Yeah.
Yeah, she was, but I think she understood.

And I think she knew that that was...
It was, again, I can be quite stubborn that I think she knew if she didn't take that offer, that it wouldn't work.
You know what I mean?
And I think she needed to kind of reframe her mind a little bit as well.
