I tell you, I think if ever there has been a year where France have to win it, this is the year.
And I think, you know, they are going to be well aware that they have lost this match for themselves over the last number of years with the sheer sleepy performance in the first half they've had at times to let England steamroll them.
Now, they've made it an absolutely whopper spectacle for the audiences watching over the last number of years with how they've come back and just lost it at the death.
But they will have their tails up.
As you said, Bordeaux, home crowd, the noise will be absolutely electric.
And it's, again, an England team that is out of this world in terms of the injuries that they've had.
They've had about a dozen first-team choice players.
Even in their pack, they're shuffling people into second row.
I think, who was it, Abby Burton is calling line-outs, which is something new to her, which is unheard of for an England team, that you would get someone with that lack of experience in there.
No, she's fairly capable of doing a good job, but it's just, you get new caps coming in every week off the back of injuries, so there is a lot of rotation, and you're seeing that in the way they play.
The way they went out at the weekend against Italy, it was a lot different of an England team that we've seen before, where they were really trying to find the soft shoulders, because that power game that they're so renowned for, perhaps,
isn't now something that they can lean on, that they're playing a lot of rugby now, ball in hand, looking to get to their speedsters out wide, looking for soft shoulders.
So it's going to make for an intriguing contest because there's no time like the present for France.
They know that they're never going to probably meet as weakened, in inverted commas, an England team as they are going to see now.
And we say that with England still managing to absolutely kind of bruise and batter everybody along the way.
But France are the only ones at the moment within touching distance.
So that's going to be a scintillating encounter, hopefully.
