And as you said, the kicking stats speak for themselves amongst the kickers.
There's just no need for it.
And it's just bizarre.
So it's just one of those things that, you know, even Zoe Harrison coming out, like the world champions of England, when they say they're, you know, doing surveys and looking at studies, who are you asking the questions to?
Because if you're not asking the players that are playing the game at this current moment, the world champions are baffled by it.
Well, then you'd have to ask who are they, who are they surveying?
Who are they questioning when they're looking to make these decisions?
Because it's,
Again, it's a bit, as you said, it's a bit kind of vague as to what it is and what's involved in it.
I've kind of made my peace and made my feelings kind of clear on it.
In previous weeks, we've talked about this and where I would love to see the growth of the game in Ireland and piggyback on the green wave that's happening now is invest in home, invest in our AIL League.
And, you know, we've seen how the men's league after many years in Ireland, the AIL 1 and AIL 1A and 1B,
the quality of games there is through the roof.
And I just think if time and money and coaching and everything else can be invested into that, I think, yes, it'll take a good number of years, but I would like to see us kind of keep things at home rather than kind of moving and making an already excellent league even better over there.
I just would like to see more done at home is my honest opinion on that one.
can delve deeper and wonder as to who's footing the bill for this and what who's going to be paying for the teams to travel across and travel back and how it's going to work with people with jobs etc and all that kind of stuff that goes with it in terms of the weekend travel etc so there's yeah there's that argument to it too um i just for me like we're already losing a lot of our best talent over to the english prem and i just worry that you know if we
if we take the attitude of we can't beat them, join them, that, you know, we're going to risk losing more and more people.
It will just kind of relocate and do their studies of college.
Our younger grassroots players will just say, I'll just go study in the UK, live in the UK, play in the Prem with teams, multiple teams that are at my disposal there to be seen in the Irish kind of magnifying glass for the international scene.
So that's kind of where I'd worry about it.
