So this is the kind of town I grew up with.

I grew up very much in the heart of mafia, very much in the heart of organized crime.

My grandfather was part of organized crime, I found out a little later on.

Which, the parent of who?

My mother's father was president of the Liquor Salesman Union, which, yeah, do I need to go into more detail than that?

He was president of the- Did you know him ever?

Oh yeah, I was very close to my grandfather.

I knew him, yeah, he died when I was, I died after my father.

He died around the same time as my mother.

So I knew him, I knew him very, very well.

And I worked with him from 1984 when I graduated college to 1992.

For eight years, we worked together in this travel business that he ran.

So that was the front, was the travel business.

But behind the scenes, it was... I think he left... I mean, he sort of spun off.

What he did was, when he was president of Liquor Salesman Union, he started to send his guys on these trips.

And he realized, I have a talent for this.

And so he sort of spun that off into being a legit source of revenue.

And then eventually he was able to, I think, to ease himself out of...

the mob.

When I was 12 years old, he disappeared for two years.
