You know this as well.
Writing is one of the few things where quantity inevitably does make quality.
You do get better at it.
Maybe there's a time when we'll start getting worse and maybe we've reached that time.
I don't know.
But it's really kind of foolhardy because we all can do it.
We all can write.
I did think, well, my first novel, why isn't this getting published?
And I look back at it, oh, there's a reason.
It really was terrible.
I thought it was good, but it wasn't.
And so you learn, the best way of learning, I wrote three novels to learn how to write novels.
