I guess that's the point I'm trying to raise.
Basically, yeah.
I mean, as you said, and this was revealed by Edward Snowden, it was one of the smaller revelations.
And I say smaller because it just didn't receive that much attention because it was about Israel.
As you know, corporate media aggressively ignores any piece of information that, you know.
looks bad on Israel and reflects poorly on them, and that's exactly what this did.
This revelation from Snowden, which showed that, you know, the U.S.
government and the NSA, they just pass over this raw data on Americans, which many of, you know, it's collected unconstitutionally, too.
As we know, the United States government is prohibited from surveilling Americans without a warrant.
They do anyway through these mass surveillance programs, and they hand the data back
not just to random companies like Palantir, but to foreign governments like Israel.
Why do they have that data at all?
In many ways, what this bill is doing, it calls for more data sharing with Israel and firming up that relationship.
But that relationship, as you said, already existed.
It's existed for a while, and we don't know how bad that relationship is.
I should say, the relationship only goes one way, or mostly.
