Like if, if I, if I were calling the shots, would I, would I call up Starkey's boy Miroshev and maybe let him, I would, I would, I would think about that more now than, than I would have say like six weeks ago, but also like, I think Skinner's been a little bit better than maybe, than maybe we're giving him credit for.
So I, he would be, you know, my dude at this point.
But, you know, you're also talking about a guy that's fallen apart in the Stanley Cup final in two consecutive years.
So I get that there's legitimate concern about him.
There's no real perfect option.
And the other thing to consider, too, is that Shilov is waiver ineligible.
So if they wanted to demote him for whatever reason to the AHL to bring up Miroshov, they'd have to carry three goaltenders, which at this particular moment, given what their injury list looks like,
probably not super viable.
So it's a tough situation.
I think if I were them, I would certainly try to get a look at Miroshov maybe in a couple consecutive games before the regular season ends.
And maybe that's what the benefit, honestly, of last night and potentially tonight is.
If you get like a little bit of padding there and you get something to work with,
you know, in terms of a margin over the rest of the Eastern Conference playoff field, I think you can get silly and you can get creative and you can say, like, we're going to start Miroshov, you know, twice in three days or something just to see what we have moving forward.
Because I think you do need to check on that as an option for sure.
The broadcasters vote on coach the year, which so unfortunately I'm not going to have a ballot there.
I, you know what, man, that's a really, really hard one this year.
I mentioned Rick bonus earlier in Columbus.
The work that guy's done has been incredible.
