Nice.
So I've had some amazing coaches throughout my career, but probably the most influential person on my career is my dad.
And funnily enough, he was my first coach when I was seven and eight years old.
Was he a manager of the team?
He was the manager of the Sunday League team.
I played the year above because my brother is a year above me and I've actually played in the year above all the way through to I was 16.
And my dad was the manager of the Sunday League team, so he's been my biggest critic throughout my career.
Right.
He played himself, didn't he?
Yeah, he played non-leagues.
He talks a good game.
He still says he's miles better than me at heading the ball.
He says every game, he's like, why are you starting at the front post from corners?
Go to the back, drift in.
He's giving me all these tips.
Would he?
Yeah, he'd text me after a game, what are you doing at the front post?
Yes, let's get him in.
Is it Alan Maguire?
It is the best coach ever, mate.
