over to the teacher later and I said oh just out of curiosity like why are we not running like that just seems a bit unusual and she goes oh well we've just had too many incidences of people running around corners and crashing into each other and it's like oh okay

And so I actually said to her, you know, I could argue that you're making our roads really unsafe in five, 10 years time, whenever these kids get their licenses, because right now is the point in time where they are developing the skill of risk management and them running around.

is allowing them to develop the skill of assessing risk at speed and assessing the risk of running around a corner that's blind running around a corner that's slippery whatever and then the result that happens on the other side yeah okay you don't want two kids smashing into each other but

It's also a lesson that you need to learn.

So then, you know, your brain then goes, OK, taking that corner really tight or whatever.

I won't do that next time.

Because if you never have the experience, then these kids get into cars when they get their licenses and they are going to learn it on a road where the adverse outcome is far worse.

the criticism of kids can't run around I don't have the solution I just feel that it's such a tricky situation for schools and that's what I like with being able to independently contract to schools is

at the end of the day when the kids do this stuff and if someone you know like i've had kids on sessions break their arms i've had those things happen and you know i just deal with it i do the forms that i need to do we notify the people that we need to notify if that's what we need to do and then we just make it work and it's all just and it's all good you know and schools can then lean on me for the risk assessment or the or the or the

That sort of, you know, behind the scenes sort of stuff rather than them being liable the whole time and being like, oh, but what if, but what if, but what if.

You know, even down to kids going home with muddy clothes.

You know, they can be like, oh, yeah, Harry took them down there and got them really muddy.

And so their parents can be like, oh, Harry.

But, you know, they're not then going to have a grievance with the school.

Yeah.

And I mean, totally like the, as parents, it's like, I view me as a parent and like as three stages, like, or three settings.

So there's a parent, I'm a parent.

And sometimes I need to stand in front of my kid

to protect them from something sometimes I need to stand beside them to help guide them through something and then sometimes I need to stand behind them and just allow them to take the lead you know so

And I do that all the time.
