And even when my kids are in the outdoors, you know, sometimes I'm like, okay, babe, like, dad is doing this with you today.
You know, like, you're not taking that on by yourself.
Like, we'll do this together.
But then on the other side, there are times where I stand in front of them and go, look, you can't reach the lowest branch on that tree.
So that's, that's, it's not your time to climb that tree yet.
You know, like, and that's kind of one thing that I've always tried to be really mindful of is like, like,
I have never been that keen just to go pick my kid up, put them on the highest thing and be like, well, you go and do it.
It's like if you're not at the physical development stage where you can reach that or you can get up into it yourself, then that's your body saying, no, no, that's like that's a later thing.
Like wait until you grow a bit taller or you're a bit stronger or whatever.
So, you know, we need to help them manage risks like that.
And as parents, it's so easy just to go, oh, they really want to get up there.
Okay, you know, put them up there.
And then all of a sudden you're having like this mini panic attack.
You're like, now they're up this like 10 meter tree and you're going, oh, yeah.
You know, or they can't get the branches on the way down or whatever.
But it's that.
And then it's also being really mindful of your language, like, as well.
