You know, instead of, oh, be careful, look out, watch that, like, don't go there.
It's like, tell me what your plan is.
Because their plan might be to go that way, you know, and the way that you're going to tell them.
But as soon as you go, watch out, stop that, don't do that, it instantly, like, triggers that fear response of like, okay,
I'm an imminent threat, you know, and then that's when kids can get hurt.
Yeah, yeah, and that's when they can get hurt because all of a sudden they lose confidence in what they're doing.
And if not, don't do it.
And then it's, you know, do you need help?
You know, like, do they want to be lifted up?
Do they want... And I know Mike is like...
Sometimes I think just getting down in the space and just
watching where your kid goes.
Like, don't feel like you need to orchestrate something for them.
Like, kids are phenomenal.
The ability that they have to find something to do without needing to be led there is so amazing.
You know, and I guess it's as the parent, it's going β
And going, okay, which park, which beach, which place is going to offer some of that opportunity?
Because some parks are better than others.
