Look, 20 years, here's what I'll say.
If you look at the history of working hours over the last, call it 150 years since the Industrial Revolution, do you think that human beings have been starting to work more or work less over time?
People are working more.
People are working more than they ever have.
Damn.
Now, the interesting thing is that they're working more even in rich countries.
And even in the richest percentages of those countries, people are working more.
So it's not true that you would think that like, okay, well, why are we are like, you know, Victorian aristocrats?
That once we get super rich, we just like laze all day and we hang out in the court and we watch people, you know, these little protégés play music.
Why don't we just hang out all day and eat crumpets and like talk about gossip?
And the answer is that.
Um, but we're certainly doing easier jobs than like, you know, backbreaking labor or like the kind of conditions under which people worked.
Like, I mean, people used to, you know, people just 50 years ago, they worked without AC, you know, they worked without, there was no TV, there were no phones, there was no email, there was no anything.
So like, obviously in that sense, jobs are way easier than they were before.
Like, look, I'm, I'm taking this call from home.
I didn't even have to leave, right?
I've literally been in my house all day.
