I would be wary of providing an entire investment account to a child where perhaps they end up with the app on their phone at 10am.

Absolutely, there would be.

I think even with a bank account, you can still accomplish those same things, though.

Roof over the head's pretty important.

Those basic sort of fundamentals around shelter.

And that's a fantastic return for the child as well.

If they don't have that roof over their head as well, that's less than ideal.

Yeah, so personally, if I was working with a client in that same scenario, I'd certainly be suggesting maybe a bit more aggressive on the mortgage rather than investing for the child.

But then everyone's different again.

We see still a lot of people thinking they're going to be getting a big inheritance maybe from their parents.
