And I would always, even as a young person, when I was working in my part-time jobs, always had a goal of something I was working towards and saving up for and buying it and really enjoyed the whole process of purchasing.
Whereas now what has happened is,
we're being told every six weeks there's a new trend, right?
There's a new season.
You know, it was burgundy.
We're always being told to buy this extra thing.
This is a new thing.
Oh, barrel jeans.
Oh, skinny jeans.
Oh, flared jeans.
You have to have them all.
Oh, these new trainers, but you have to have every colour.
It's not about just working your way towards buying a nice purchase and buying like pieces that will fit into your existing wardrobe.

They market it so well because you think, well, actually, I'm going to be so much happier if I have this
this extra pair of trainers are really going to make such a difference in my life where you know it doesn't do that no that's not bringing you any joy so what we're doing when we come in is when people get to the point of saying right they want us in to help the first thing that we'll do obviously I'll chat to my client we'll talk about where their issues are
is that I think needs to happen and I'll explain the process because it isn't tidying we are going to empty that full space so every single thing is coming out of every drawer press
