yeah I worked in finance I worked in hedge fund administrations and just worked my bum off for between 2005 and when I left in 2022 yeah I moved companies but doing the same thing yeah I just worked my way crazy

quite quickly up the ranks that got promoted because I worked really hard the higher level like the more senior I got the more difficult I found it because it's so strategic and it was political and and you have to work and I had small kids outrageously long hours yeah long hours it's an American company so again so you're never off

No, you were constantly working.

It was long days and my kids were small and then COVID

And definitely like I loved my job at the beginning and we were all young and it was like college again.

So we all went out on a Friday.

We all had a great social life together.

We were all friends.

I'm still friends with a lot of the people that I met in my job initially.

But of course, as you get older, you have kids, responsibilities, pressures with mortgages and everything else.
