You know, it just becomes work
then it wasn't as fun and it was a lot of stress and for very little return personally.
Like so for me, what was I getting?
I had no passion for it really.
I liked doing a good job.
I was conscientious, wanted my clients to be happy and of course I wanted to do well.
But my focus was obviously shifted whereas the kids were my priority then.
and we were all working from home my husband was working from home the kids were small we were all at home together trying to homeschool keep them going and keep our jobs going and I spent a lot of time on the laptop as you would as everyone did and my son at dinner said one night mum one night can we have dinner without your laptop because I was sitting turned away from the kids tick tocking away there not tick tocking obviously but
tapping away on the laptop whilst they were eating their dinner because I'd sorted them and then I really feel that hazel oh it was heartbreaking yeah no I slammed it shut and I said of course and absolutely I think but I was like what am I really teaching them here in the sense of like they knew I didn't like work because they could hear me giving out about it because they were spending the whole day with me obviously watching seeing how much pressure we were both under and
I'm not great at stress, like I'm not great at handling it.
You know, I can work away and I can work really hard.
But obviously stress was really impactful then and it was impacting the kids then.
And also I was like, what am I really getting from this?
And I don't love it.
And you would see people online like following their dreams, doing these jobs they're so passionate about.
And I always thought, wow, like fair play to them now.
wouldn't it be great to do a job they actually on the Sunday like my Sunday night blues we would call it was horrific like
thoughts of going back the next day
sick in the pit of my stomach that there'd be an error something would go wrong I'd have to explain it away and
Because things go wrong because human error happens all the time.
