Well, I knew I was good at it and I was an organised person.
I couldn't just walk into someone's house and say, oh, I'm really good at this.
I can do this.
Where I felt if I had a qualification to say, well, I studied with this lady who's really prestigious in the UK.
It's the first of its kind course.
And I was the first Irish person to do the course and qualified, whatever.
We were her first cohort, let's say.
then I would have a bit more confidence, I felt.
And I was right because that is what happened.
But as part of the course, you could work, you needed to do work experience and kind of have a portfolio of work that you've done in every type of room in the house.
And one of the things was she wanted you to come to the UK for a period of time and work on that show.
sort your life out and I was like this is my opportunity to meet Stacey because I loved her always loved her even from X Factor days loved her and I thought this would be hilarious but then the family got COVID that we
work with so Dilly said well just come anyway but you'll have to just work with my team and in hindsight that was probably better it was real work it wasn't TV
because the TV, whilst the show was amazing and what they've done for the people on that show wasn't real, actual day-to-day working in people's homes is completely different to doing a whole house into a warehouse with thousands of people in the background.
You know, so I was doing real work with her actual team all around London for the week.
And it was a full on week.
But then I met all the girls that I'd studied with who are now like my WhatsApps always happen because we help each other with our jobs.
When I go to UK, they come with me on work some of the time.
So it really solidified kind of relationships I had with Dilly, but also with the girls that she had on her team and the girls that I studied with.
And I got to see how it worked in real life.
