And so then I looped in because hers was very UK focused on UK tax and UK businesses.
And obviously I wasn't doing a UK business business.
I needed to loop in with my local enterprise office, which I did.
Now, all this while, I've decided to leave my job.
I've handed my notice.
It's a three-month notice period.
I did a four-day week at that point in my job.
So
absolutely is... Pretty much I signed up for the course and said, like, bonus time was March.
So I said, well, I won't say anything till then because I'm not an idiot.
So I waited till bonus time and literally the next day rang my boss to say I'm leaving.
He thought I was joking because I'd been there for so long
was 14 years there.
and I was always a real panicker about being made redundant so like say when there was the crashes you were constantly on the admin side and I was in project management as well so I wasn't really client facing for a few years I wasn't generating money for the business so of course I'm as easy to let go so I was panicking constantly about being made redundant so constantly trying to prove
take it as an opportunity like in hindsight now when I think about it
that would have been lovely little windfall but no I never got the redundancy because I didn't really want it so when I told my boss I was leaving he was like stop you're not because that's so the opposite of you what are you going to do and I said no I have no major plans of some things in the fire but nothing's confirmed like I'm not going to another company that was what happened a lot of people would move to a competitor so again I never really did it I did it once
after a couple of years and they never moved again because the grass for me was never going to be greener than what I knew anyhow so I'm doing the course on a Monday I was off from my finance job so I would get my work experience on those days so I would work for my friends my family whoever I could whoever needed me a lot of the moms in the school were so supportive like all my kids friends moms booked me pretty much all of them like all of Temple Oak I worked in their homes pretty sure uh
How lovely is that?
They were so good.
And like a lot of them didn't need me in.
