It's coming soon, and we're hoping that whatever the threats are, that will not be the final, and that will not be the end result.

It's not as if we pass this budget and we are tied to it forever.

So 2027 will be different than where we are today, but this commissioner supports affordable housing, supports my seniors not becoming homeless.
because they can't afford even to pay their maintenance and their hospital bill and for their medication.
So I would like to see some additional funding go into a pilot program that will keep our seniors in their homes, especially those in condos.
And I've never said this before.
I would like, here I go, for this county to start a pilot program, working with the banks that we take our monies to,
every Monday and Tuesday and deposit in the bank.
Where do we go with the banks to have their commitment to putting some monies into our communities?
That's where we need to have that conversation also.
